Stephen James Consulting are working with an established elderly care provider in the search for an experienced Home Manager based in Horsham.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse-qualified Home Manager to lead a large nursing, residential and dementia service with a strong reputation and a Good CQC rating. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high clinical standards, supporting staff development, and ensuring excellent operational performance across the home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursing home
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and clinical governance standards
- Lead and support nursing and care teams to deliver person-centred care
- Maintain strong oversight of audits, medication management, and risk processes
- Drive occupancy, team stability, and overall home performance
- Work closely with senior leadership to maintain and improve standards
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Home Manager within a nursing home environment
- Nurse qualified with strong clinical knowledge
- Excellent understanding of CQC compliance and governance
- Proven track record of achieving or maintaining strong inspection outcomes
- Confident leader with experience managing large teams
Salary & Benefits:
- £75,000 – £80,000 per annum DOE
